Firstly. let's define what a fetish and what a kink is.
Fetish: 'a form of sexual desire in which gratification is linked to an abnormal degree of a particular object, item of clothing, part of the body, etc.'
Kink: 'a person's unusual sexual preference' (for example, foot fetish, spanking, CBT etc.)
The words 'unusual' and 'abnormal' may come across as something negative, but in fact just means that others are not necessarily into the same things that you are into. That's where the term 'vanilla' comes in, describing all of the 'usual' things that people get sexually aroused from.
Now, onto the nitty gritty. Is your fetish/kink weird? The short answer is no.
The long answer however is, that because your fetish may not be prevalent in mainstream porn does not mean to say it is weird. It may be unusual in the sense that you may be unique in your fetish, but alas, it does not mean you are alone. Kinks and fetishes are often shared by a number of people, it is just finding those people to share and communicate that with that may be a challenge. Especially considering kinks and fetishes are not often what we discuss at a bar with friends!
So, the bottom line is, no matter what you may think, your fetish is not weird. And remember, just because you have this fetish/kink, does not mean that others don't either. You never know what happens behind closed doors and even someone as 'normal' as your neighbour may in fact be up to some kinky things behind the curtains...
